Revolving Loan Fund Notice of Approval - Villari Food Group, LLC

The Duplin County Board of Commissioners approved a loan of $200,000 from the Revolving Loan Fund. Villari Food Group, LLC will use the funds to assist in a project to reduce process wastewater and improve pretreatment of its discharge going to the Warsaw WWTP. The total project is anticipated to be $3,271,483. Expected outcomes of the project include the ability for the company to grow in Duplin County, realize long-term cost savings potential, protect 1,000 existing jobs in Warsaw, and create 75 new (moderate to low-income) jobs. All jobs are anticipated to be in place by the end of 2026. All RLF applications are vetted by the Revolving Loan Fund Committee. The DCRFL was established with CDBG funds to assist existing and/or future businesses and industries of Duplin County, North Carolina.
